Rules

Read this before you request a channel.

• Only one channel will be registered per person, and there is only one channel master (level 500) per channel.
• We have the right to remove the service from any channel at any time for any reason. Abuse of the service will not be tolerated and will result in its removal from the channel.
• "Sex" and "warez" channels are not supported and are rejected without further explanation.
• To remove your channel from the service, or to pass your level 500 to someone else, write to staff@chatnet.gg with the channel name, your nick and, for a transfer, the nick and email address of the new master. Never send your password by email: we will ask you to confirm it on IRC.
• Channel Service only adds masks for channel masters (level 500). All other masks are the responsibility of the channel master and the level 400+ channel ops.
• We are here to help with problems and questions about the service. If other users are harassing you, or for any other problem, ask the IRC operators in #chatnet. Thank you.

These rules are for channels on X9. Channels registered with K9 (Atheme) are not covered by this request process.
